VIDEO: Bartolo Colon Hits First Major League Home Run

Happy Bartolo Colon Appreciation Day, in which we will be using #ThankYouBart with every post on social media. I want to be clear. Bartolo Colon appreciation day runs until 7:10 p.m., after which I hope he falls on his face and throws the worst baseball game of his life.

Throughout the day, I will be sharing fun videos of Bartolo Colon from his time with the Mets. He made us laugh but was also a valuable piece in bringing relevant baseball back to New York. He was a valuable mentor to the young guns who are in the Mets’ starting rotation today.

So, without further ado, check below for the most famous moment of Bartolo Colon’s Mets’ tenure, his first major league home run.
