Mets Sign Jacob DeGrom to Long-Term Deal

on

Rejoice Mets fans! Jacob DeGrom will be in Flushing for the foreseeable future. Jeff Passan reported the deal is for 5 years and $137.5 million. There’s also 2024 club option. It also includes an opt-out after 2022. If the deal goes to full term, the deal can be worth up to $170 million.

I guess when Noah Syndergaard talks, management listens. It’s a HUGE win for the team to get this done before opening day, because now the focus is just on baseball.

Let’s get it boys, and it starts on Thursday.
